Producer Faze Miyake to release debut album in October

London producer Faze Miyake will release his debut full length self-titled album on 2 October, Rinse FM has announced. If his name doesn’t ring a bell yet, then your probably familiar with his first single ‘Take Off’ which dropped four years ago. The announcement is very exciting as Faze Miyake has established a signature sound which will no doubt be gloriously realised on this LP.

It has been described as a “dreamlike vision of 21st century sound system music” and will feature appearances from our very own Little Simz, Chicago rapper Sasha Go Hard and HUGH singer Izzy Brooks. Having grown up in East London, ‘Faze Miyake’ is firmly grounded in his home town with some grime, garage and jungle-infused tracks. Such genres have informed his own music, with his beats blending textures and tempos with incredible precision.

Based on what we’ve heard from him throughout his career so far, ‘Faze Miyake’ will be a unique and most of all, quality LP. It’s definitely looking like one of the best projects to drop this year.

Have a listen to a track from the album, ‘Ice Cold’ featuring Inga Copeland below. Will you be buying ‘Faze Miyake’ when it’s out next month? Let us know!
