[Stream x Review] A2 – Purple

This is the third project from A2 in 2018 and that is really not normal from him because we would normally get 5 songs for the year and you will have to deal with is but treating the steaming platforms like his place to make statements and this one is Be Nice.

We have had Blue, we have had Red and now we have purple. This one comes with a chill and and more comfortable A2 as he has probably the most exposure as an artist to the masses and this is the first time he has admitted to levelling up. Giving us only 5 tracks this EP is very concentrated, once again not flinching with the style that put him in the space he is in right now and to give us all this music really shows he really isn’t here to play games.

We were waiting on Flex Luthor as he has been teasing us with this since his sold out Koko show and for this to be the intro track he knew we have been waiting and it was the best way to set pace on the energy and remind us that its him and Hacko on the decks doing bits once again.

The hooks throughout this project done by A2 were done with class and they truly make you remember the songs and hone the vibe he intended.

One song holds all the features and those features bring a lot of energy in the form of Octavian, Yxng Bane & Suspect. With a song like Flair where all members personify that word in their own way

When we did our research purple signifies we saw this:

Purple combines the calm stability of blue and the fierce energy of red. The colour purple is often associated with royalty, nobility, luxury, power, and ambition. Purple also represents meanings of wealth, extravagance, creativity, wisdom, dignity, grandeur, devotion, peace, pride, mystery, independence, and magic.

Enough said.

Purple earned a 4/5 Certified Stars and what a way to get his Fourth quarter going and never forget that when the winter comes we could actually hear from him again but for now the enigma that is A2 continues.
